When your passport is ready to collect, you can:

    1. Collect your passport from VFS Global’s office
    2. Pay for a courier to return your passport to your home

    The decision will be either:

    1. Approved – you will find your visa inside your passport
    2. Rejected – this could have been for many reasons

    Rejection reasons include:

    1. Lack of funds – you must be able to afford your trip and the documents you provide, such as bank statements, must show this
    2. No travel itinerary – this is one document that serves as proof of travel which is required. If you have no other documents that can do this, then an itinerary is mandatory
    3. You gave false information – do not try this! You will be found out and it will result in a rejected application. Not only that, but it might affect your future travel plans
    4. Travel insurance does not cover the entire duration of the trip – if this is the case, you must obtain appropriate travel insurance which covers the entire duration of the trip as well as other requirements (see above)
