Applying for a Netherlands Schengen Visa from the Philippines

If you are a citizen of the Netherlands, you will have to apply for a visa to be able to travel to the Netherlands.

The Embassy of the Netherlands in Manila processes visa applications, however, you must submit your application to VFS Global in Makati, Manila.

You can apply up to 6 months and no later than 15 days before your departure date. It takes 15 days for the embassy to make a decision, so if you apply any later than 15 days before, there may not be enough time to process your application.

Types of Schengen visas offered at VFS Global/the Embassy of the Netherlands in Manila

There are different types of visas which permit the holder to travel to the Netherlands for different purposes:

    1. Short-stay Schengen visa – for tourism, business, visiting family/friends up to 90 days

Visas are issued as single or multiple entry which means you can enter the Netherlands once or as many times are you wish before the visa expires.
