Applying for a Schengen Visa from Australia

Whether you need a Schengen visa will depend on your nationality. Generally speaking, if you are from Australia, you do not need a visa to be able to visit Denmark. However, if you are currently living in Australia, but you are a non-Australian citizen by birth, you do need to apply for a visa. You can do this easily as long as you can prove you have a legal right to live in Australia.

The Embassy of Denmark in Bangkok will make the decision as to whether to grant your visa or not, but you must submit your application to one of the VFS Global offices located across Australia. It is possible to apply in Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

You can do this by providing documents that show you have ties where you live, such as an employment contract or proof that you own your home etc
