    Your application will be either:

    2. Refused – you will receive a refusal letter with your passport, explaining the reason behind the refusal. You will be told whether you have the right to appeal

Visa applications get refused for many reasons including:

    1. Invitation letter missing – if you are being invited to Estonia by someone, either as a private individual or in a company, you must provide an invitation letter
    2. Travel insurance does not cover the correct requirements – your travel insurance should cover all risks, like accident and sickness, so you should check the details before you submit your application
    3. Passport was issued 12 years ago – your passport must have been issued no longer than 10 years ago. If not, you should get a new one before applying for a visa
    4. The embassy is not clear that you will return home – you must make it clear to the embassy that you intend to return home before the visa expires. You can do this by providing evidence that you have ties in the Philippines like a house and/or job to return to
